Forest Hills is home. Our shop is at 116-13 Queens Blvd, on the Kew Gardens end of the neighborhood, and a Forest Hills address is the fastest call we take. Queens Plumber Co handles the galvanized risers in the Queens Boulevard co-ops, the century-old pipe in the Gardens, the restaurant drains on Austin Street, and the emergencies that happen in a neighborhood full of six-story buildings. Call (929) 499-0746 or request a free plumbing quote.

Forest Hills has three generations of plumbing stacked next to each other. The Gardens, laid out in 1910, has Tudor and Georgian houses that still carry original brass and galvanized supply lines, cast iron stacks, and clay sewer laterals under private streets. The six-story prewar co-ops along Queens Boulevard, Yellowstone Boulevard, and 108th Street run one-pipe steam from a basement boiler and share drain stacks between a column of kitchens. The postwar towers off Queens Boulevard and the newer condos near Austin Street run hot water heat, copper or PEX risers, and booster pumps.
The common thread is age and height. A riser leak on the fifth floor of a Queens Boulevard co-op ends up in four apartments below it before anyone sees it. A Gardens house has a sewer lateral eighty feet long with a century of maple roots in it. And the blocks along Yellowstone and toward Rego Park took on water in the Ida storm of 2021, which showed every basement in the neighborhood where its drainage stood.
Because the truck starts here, the plumber arriving in Forest Hills already has what the building needs on board. Copper and PEX, cast iron couplings, steam vents, sewer cutter heads, and a thermal camera.
Forest Hills co-op boards expect a certificate of insurance before any work, a riser shutoff notice posted a day ahead, and the super at the valve. We have COIs on file with many of the managing agents along Queens Boulevard already, and when we do not, it goes out the morning you call. The board's approved fixture list applies to anything visible, and we work from it.
The Gardens has its own layer. The streets are private, maintained by the Gardens Corporation, so a sewer dig needs their sign-off along with the DEP permit, and the restoration has to match. We have done it, and we know who to call. Everywhere in Forest Hills the city rules hold: gas lines, boiler replacements, new water service, and relocated drains need a Licensed Master Plumber to file with the DOB and pass inspection, and a Con Edison gas shutoff after a leak means months without cooking gas for a building that did not get the paperwork right. We get it right.
Leak detection in a Forest Hills co-op starts in the riser chase. A ceiling stain in a kitchen or bathroom is the riser behind the wall or the apartment above, and we pressure test, image the wall, open one small hole, and repair the section in copper. When the same riser has failed three times, pipe repair and repiping of that line, top to bottom, is cheaper than the fourth patch and the plaster that goes with it.
Boiler repair is every winter night here. One-pipe steam in the prewar buildings means low water cutoffs, main vents, pressuretrols, and near-boiler piping that decides whether 60 apartments wake up to banging. We service the boilers before heat season and answer the no-heat calls during it. Drain cleaning is the restaurant strip on Austin Street and the grease that ends up in the kitchen lines of the buildings behind it. We snake the small clogs, hydro jet the shared lines, and camera anything that comes back.
Water heater repair in the Gardens and the two-family houses off Metropolitan Avenue means a gas tank in a finished basement, so we set the new one in a drip pan with a drain line and check the chimney. Sewer line repair for the houses is long clay laterals and roots, with a camera first, a sonde for depth, and a spot repair or a lining before anyone digs up a private street.
Gas line installation for kitchen renovations, dryers, and oil to gas conversions in the older houses, with the permit and the inspection. Faucet and fixture installation, toilet repair, and garbage disposal repair in co-op kitchens and bathrooms, from the board's approved list. A sump pump with a battery backup for the basements that learned their lesson in 2021.
Emergency plumbing in Forest Hills is the shortest drive we have. A burst riser at midnight, a water heater dumping its tank, sewage in a basement during a storm, no heat on a January night. The plumber is often there in under thirty minutes, because the truck was already on Queens Boulevard.
Call (929) 499-0746 or request a free plumbing quote. A plumber comes to your Forest Hills address, finds the problem, writes the price, and does the work when you say go. The invoice matches the quote.
